Westbury praised for professionalism by partner Schneider Electric

Leicestershire based control panel manufacturer and engineering firm, Westbury Control Systems were pleased to recently host a tour of its facilities to global business partner, Schneider Electric.

Special guests, Martin Walder (Vice President Industry) and William Brown (OEM Key Account Manager) for Schneider Electric — world leaders in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, were invited by Westbury to formalise its business partnership, after receiving an official placard from them to signify its new status, as a Schneider Electric ‘System Integrator Alliance Partner.’

Westbury are proud to be amongst 1,000 partners in 64 countries worldwide providing customers with local expertise and Schneider Electric’s global support of award-winning products and services. Mr Westbury, founder and Managing Director enthused: “We’re confident as newcomers to Schneider Electric’s system integrator program, that Westbury will very quickly build a strong, mutually beneficial relationship for the long term.”

Attention to detail

In fact, towards the end of summer last year, Schneider Electric, with its full support referred a significant business opportunity for Westbury to manufacture control panels, for power generator installations in Canary Wharf. After successfully overcoming several production challenges, Schneider Electric’s customer feedback was very positive: “We can only say that the attention to detail, quality and commitment to achieve our requirements, have been second to none.”

That ‘attention to detail’ did not go unnoticed during the recent visit: Mr Walder communicated his confidence in Westbury.

Looking ahead

Developing the partnership further, Schneider Electric will increasingly work closely with Westbury’s engineers and pre-production, in order to streamline and optimise systems for the benefit of their growing OEM client base. Mr Walder added his support, “Westbury proactively look for better ways of doing things, which is an objective shared with Schneider Electric.”
