Westbury become an official UL Listed Facility

Westbury are pleased to announce that they are officially a UL Listed, Industrial Control Panel manufacturer for both the US and Canadian markets.

Designing and building control panels compliant to #UL508A standards, Westbury, now have full in-house capabilities to service its growing customer base with this globally recognised accreditation.

American and Canadian markets

Managing Director, Glynn Westbury commented: “We’ve been able to work to a UL standard for a while now, given that in the main, the components we use within our control panels are UL badged. It was the obvious step for Westbury (now in its 20th year) to become officially UL listed, realising the huge potential of working within the American and Canadian markets.”

UL508A Compliance

Michael Greer, SHEQ Advisor for Westbury added: “We have been aware of a growing number of enquiries from existing and potential customers regarding UL certification. This together with the enthusiasm and dedication of our engineering and production teams allowed us to invite UL into Westbury to undertake our formal training and carry out our subsequent design and build assessment. It is therefore satisfying that going forward any control panel that we design or build, has the potential to be specified to UL508A and labelled as such.”
