Westbury impress Schneider Electric VIP guest

Earlier this month, Westbury Control Systems hosted VIP guest, Philippe Rambach, Senior VP Commercial Industry Business Unit from Schneider Electric, France, during his visit to the UK.

Martin Walder, Vice President Industry at Schneider Electric praised Westbury for its efforts in proactively developing their partnership, which was formalised as an official System Integrator back in 2018.

Control Panels

During a tour of the facilities led by Glynn Westbury MD, made up of a demonstration of manufacturing and engineering capabilities, Philippe commented “I’m very impressed; Westbury stand out from other panel builders in the respect that they invest and utilise ‘clever kit’ to semi-automate their production processes for its OEM clients.” Martin Walder added, “It’s great to see first-hand the scale of Schneider Electric supplied hardware that is being used on Westbury’s shop floor to build high quality control panels for one of our overseas end clients.”

Partner Feedback

Westbury, in its 20th year, and often described as ‘a safe pair of hands’ were also openly invited to provide feedback on other aspects of the Schneider Electric partnership, including pre and post component sales and technical support. Andy Lowe, Schneider Electric’s National OEM Manager commented, “It’s really helpful for us to evaluate Schneider Electric’s services and go-to-market tools with the help of our customer base and partners to make improvements.”
