Integrated Wireless Ethernet Process Plant.

Westbury Control Systems have been awarded a contract to design and manufacture a bespoke solution for a group of process plant control and monitoring outstations associated with chemical cleaning process for land environment management in the UK.

The waste site is without fixed accommodation and so all operations between the various process units has to be wireless and have standalone capability for redundancy of operation.

A single controlled location provides a PC based SCADA, giving friendly operator access, diagnostics combined with a remote data collection distribution point. As the site becomes unmanned access will be via GSM and GPRS modems for text message alerts and dialup data access to the log files.
